The relevant statute is the Utah Consumer Credit Code, Utah Code Ann. §§70C-1-101 through 70C-8-203 (UT-UCCC).
A. Actions creditor may take: UT-UCCC §70C-2-104 - If buyer covenants to perform certain duties relating to insuring and creditor pays for performance of the duties on buyer's behalf, creditor may add the amounts so paid to the unpaid principal.
B. Notices required: UT-UCCC §70C-2-104 - Contract must provide for payment of buyer's duties by creditor.
C. Charges permitted: No express statutory provision.
D. Finance charge allowed on creditor's payment: Yes. UT-UCCC §70C-2-104.
