The relevant statute is Del. Code Ann. tit. 25 §4701.


A. Actions lender may take: Del. Code Ann. tit. 25 §4701 - A lender may obtain fire insurance and add the premium to a borrower's loan principal, if the borrower fails to pay for and provide fire insurance adequately protecting the lender's interests within 30 days after receiving notice from the lender.


B. Notices required: Del. Code Ann. tit. 25 §4701 - The lender may obtain and charge the borrower for fire insurance only if the borrower fails to furnish adequate fire insurance within 30 days after receiving the lender's notice requesting proof of such insurance.


C. Coverage required: No express statutory provision.


D. Charges permitted: No express statutory provision.


E. Finance charge allowed on lender's payment: Del. Code Ann. Tit 25 §4701 - Lienholder of record may charge premium(s) paid for insurance to principal amount of indebtedness.
