The relevant statute is Lenders of Money, N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. §§399-C:1 et seq. (“NH-LM”).


A. Actions lender may take: No express statutory provision.


B. Notices required: No express statutory provision.


C. Coverage required: No express statutory provision.


D. Charges permitted: NH-LM §399-C:1 - Lenders may not make any separate or additional charge to, or require any fee from, or require the payment of any money by a borrower or an insurer to substitute one insurance policy for another, other than the insurance premium on insurance written as additional security for the loan, when the existing or substituted policy is provided through an insurance company, agent or broker licensed to do business in New Hampshire.


E. Finance charge allowed on lender's payment: NH-LM §399-C:1 - Lenders may charge interest on premium advancements made in accordance with the security agreement.
