Minnesota: For licensees under the Residential Mortgage Originator and Servicer Licensing Act, Minn. Stat. §§58.01 et seq., Minn. Stat. §47.20 permits a licensee to charge a borrower any insurance premiums including but not limited to premiums for title insurance, fire and extended coverage insurance, flood insurance, and private mortgage insurance, but excluding any charges or sums retained by the lender as self-insured retention. The statute does not expressly address insurance tracking fees.
