North Carolina: For licensees under Registration Requirements Act for Certain Makers of Mortgages and Deeds of Trust on Residential Real Property, N.C. Gen. Stat. §§53-233 through 53-244, N.C. Gen. Stat. 24-8 permits a licensee to charge the borrower for the payment of bona fide loan-related goods, products, and services provided or to be provided by third parties. Loan-related goods, products, and services do not expressly include insurance tracking services.
